I love music and I thought that I would tell about my current favorites. Some of these songs are really underrated. If you want you can go check these out.

Missing – TRCNG

I fell in love with the song instantly. The lyrics are really good and inspiring. TRCNG is a South Korean boy group. I have been a fan since their debut. They are really talented. I recommend you check out the song. They need to get more recognition. This song is able to put me on a better mood and always makes me smile.

Give me more – VAV, De La Ghetto & Play-N-Skillz

It’s a really good song for the summer. The beat is really good. I also like the Latin vibes I get from the song. VAV is also a South Korean boy group. I have to admit that this was the first time I heard about De La Ghetto and Play-N-Skillz. I like their style. Go check out the song.

Chica – Chungha

The song is all about self love and female empowerment. I love the meaning of the song and the message it’s giving women. My favorite part of the song is “It doesn’t matter. How many times you fall. As long as you try”. Chungha is a South Korean singer.

Don’t change – Why Don’t We

It was made for the movie Ugly Dolls. I haven’t seen the movie. I just love Why Don’t We. The song tells about a person who doesn’t think highly of theirself and they are trying to tell that the person is perfect just the way they are and that they shouldn’t try to hide their flaws. The flaws are what makes that person who they are and that they shouldn’t change. I love the lyrics. It has a special meaning in my heart. Listen to the song. It’s worth it. Why Don’t We is a boy group from America.

So am I – Ava Max & NCT 127

It tells about being different and that it is okay if you are different. My favorite part of the song is “Do you ever feel like an outcast? You don’t have to fit into the format. Oh, but it’s okay to be different”. I love the lyrics. Ava Max is Albanian singer born in America. NCT 127 is a South Korean boy group.

Kill this love – Blackpink

“It’s about killing toxic love; that hurts us, makes us vulnerable and weak. Finding what makes us confident and comfortable when we’re in love.” Check out the song. It is one of my all time favorite songs. Blackpink is a South Korean girl group. They are the biggest girl group in K-pop worldwide.

RPM – SF9

“This song has the meaning of running until the end for the one they love and makes the heart beat faster.” I love the song. The beat is really amazing and the song makes me in a better mood and makes me want to get up and start dancing. The choreography is spot on and the rap parts are amazing. I love Zuho’s part the most, his deep voice is breathtaking. They are a South Korean boy group. One of my favorites.

It’s been a while since I have written on my blog. I was working at a accounting firm for two months. I learned a lot of new things. I also went to central Finland. I was there for a week. I might write about my trip, if I have time. I have a lot of ideas for my blog. It will take me a while to write about those, because I start my final year in college next monday. I will write as often as I can but school is my priority.

I am currently thinking about my birthday. It’s next month and I will be 18 years old. I don’t know if I will have a birthday party. I don’t really know what people do in partys. I know that some people drink alcohol but I don’t drink. I have no interest in drinking. I will probably go to a restaraunt with my friends. I don’t really know what I want for my birthday present.

I went on a another adventure with my family. I went with my older sister and my parents. This time we didn’t really have a plan as to where we were going to visit. We went to the grocery store to buy food. I had water and karelian pies. This time we didn’t take as many photos as last time because the place we went to, didn’t really have places to stop and take photos. We managed to take some photos. We ended up going to Uusikaupunki. We went to multiple places. We left from Turku. I saw a fox in Turku. We drove through Raisio. I also saw a fox in Raisio. That won’t be the last time in this adventure that I will see a fox. I ended up seeing four foxes. I saw eight swans. They were really beautiful. I don’t remember where I saw them because it was my first time being there and we visited so many towns and citys. I think that it was in Uusikaupunki or Vehmaa. Half of the places that we visited, I had never been there before. We visited Vehmaa, Askainen, Lemu, Uusikaupunki, Kaukjärvi, Mynämäki, Kalanti, Laitila, Nousiainen, Rahkmala, Masku, Pyhe, and Raisio. So quite many places. I have been in Askainen, Lemu, Pyhe, Raisio, Masku, Nousiainen and Mynämäki before. I won’t tell in detail about each place because then the text would be way too long.

I saw over 20 horses. I didn’t get a photo of them. I also saw two rabbits, four cranes, five deers, a duck and a glider. We ate food in Raisio on our way back home. We were listening music in the car almost the whole trip.

Today I thought that I would write about yesterday’s cartrip. I wanted to go to Kustavi to take photos, but we didn’t end up going there. We went to multiple places. I went there with my parents. First we went to Lidl to buy food. We bought karelian pies, pretzels and buns. We had water in the car.

When we left from the store, we went to Naantali. When we got there we decided to go further. We went to Kultaranta and my mom took some photos there. We saw the president’s summer house, it’s located in Kultaranta. After Kultaranta we went to Merimasku. There we saw this giant seagull statue, it was next to the Merimasku school. I was like “there is no way that this would be anywhere else than Finland”, it was taller than me. I’m 170 cm tall. I think that it was like 180 cm tall. I also saw two deers in Merimasku, sadly I couldn’t get a photo because we were in a moving car.

We went to Masku after leaving Merimasku. We saw six cranes there, I tried to get a photo of the first crane, but it was too far. I couldn’t get a photo of all of them because most of them were too far. I was able to get a photo of two cranes that we saw later. I also saw coltsfoots. It was the first time that I saw those flowers this year.

We went to Askainen, I saw six deers there. I tried to get a photo of them, but they ran away. I think that it was because of the music was playing in the car. We stopped at the church of Askainen and my mother took photos of it. I didn’t take photos of it because I’m an atheist, I don’t believe in god or religious things.

We had a lunch break in Louhisaari. We were there for like twenty minutes and then we continued our trip. We went to Lemu, I saw swans there. I counted that there were fifteen swans. We went back to Naantali.

In Naantali we went to the old town area. We took many photos there. We went to the sea side, it was really nice there. The weather was a bit windy, but I didn’t mind it. I’m going to post the photos on my Instagrams. I will put some of them on my personal Instagram account. I might put all of the photos on my photography account. We left Naantali and we went to the grocery store to buy food. We saw my older brother’s previous teacher there. After the store we went back home. It was quite an awesome day and I had fun. I like going on these kinds of adventures. It’s really relaxing and I get to take awesome shots. I saw like fifty horses during the trip. Might have been even more.

Today I thought that I would write about learning foreign languages and some tips that would be helpful.

I have studied Chinese, Japanese, Finnish, Korean, Thai, Spanish, French, Russian, English, Norwegian, German, Latin and Swedish. I might have forgot to mention a language because I can´t remember every language that I have studied.

I have studied foreign languages since I was on second grade. I´m currently studying Korean. The first foreign language that I started studying was English. My English is pretty good. I started studying Swedish on seventh grade. I am quite average in Swedish. I don´t know if I would be able to have a conversation in Swedish. I don´t speak Swedish anywhere except in my Swedish class. I sometimes say some words to my friends or family in Swedish but not that often.

I started learning Korean in middle school. If I remember correctly, it was in fourth grade. I tried to learn it by watching Korean dramas, variety shows and also by listening to Korean music. I started learning Japanese two years ago but I gave up because it was really hard learning it without a teacher. I might start it again after I have completed my Korean language course in Duolingo. I tried learning Thai without a teacher. It didn´t really work out so I put it on a pause for now. The problem with learning Asian languages it that the letters are not the same as in Finnish. I would have to first learn the characters in order to understand anything. I studied Chinese for a while but I stopped because it was really hard. I tried learning Chinese through dramas. The main drama I watched was Ice Fantasy.

I started studying Russian last year. My class mate helped me learn the letters. I was able to read some words and remember the letters. I had no idea what the words meant. I have forgotten all of it. I studied Norwegian by watching Skam. I learned few words but I had to mainly rely on the subtitles. My friends recommended it to me. That is the only way I tried to learn Norwegian. My middle school friend was Polish and she teached me some words. The only word I remember is the currency.

We had a theme day in middle school where we learned different languages. We learned Spanish, Latin, German and French. I wanted to study French in junior high school. They didn´t end up teaching it because there weren´t enough students who wanted to study it. I studied Spanish in college. I can remember some words but I wouldn´t be able to have an conversation. I might start it again. It was pretty fun. That is my language studying history.

Now I am going to tell some tips that helped me. First thing that I recommed doing is downloading the app Duolingo. It is an app where you can learn any language available. I am using it currently to learn Korean. I have improved so much thanks to the app. I highly recommend it, if you are trying to learn a new language. In the app you can deside how many minutes you want to learn in a day. I am learning 20 minutes per day. It might not sound like a lot but it is really usefull to me because I dont´t have a lot of free time. I am busy with school, work and teaching.

The second tip is to write down everything you learn into a notebook. You should dedicate the notebook to that specific language and the things you learn in that language. I have a notebook where I write all the characters and words that I have lerned. That way I can see the progress and look back at the things I have learned and not forget it.

The third tip is listening music in that language. I listen to foreign music because I try to learn through the songs. If you don´t understand the lyrics, it´s okay, you can read the subtitles. Suddenly you will start to pick up some words. You might even be able to listen to the song without looking at the subtitles.

The fourth tip is watcing tv shows, movies and variety shows in that language. I like watching tv shows, movies, variety shows and studying languages, so I decided to combine these two. I put on the subtitles but I try to look at it as little as possible and see what I can understand without the subtitles. I can usually pick up words and phrases.

Bang Chan (방찬)

His real name is Cristopher Bang. His Korean name is Bang Chan. He goes by the name Chan. His nicknames are Kangaroo and Koala. He is the leader of Stray Kids, Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Rapper and Producer. He was Born on October 3rd, 1997. He is one of the members of 3RACHA. In 3RACHA his name is CB97. His birth place is unknown. He moved to Sydney Australia when he was really young. He is Australian. He has two siblings. Their names are Hannah and Lucas. He can play piano and the guitar. He has said that, if wouldn’t have been an artist, he would have been a actor or an athlete.

Woojin (우진)

His full name is Kim Woo-jin (김우진). His nicknames are Bear and Shrek. He is the Main Vocal of Stray Kids. He was born on 8th of April, 1997. He was born in Daejeon, South Korea. He has one older brother. I didn’t find the name. He knows Kendo. It’s a Japanese martial art. He can speak some English. He can speak Korean. If he wouldn’t have been an artist, he would have been a vocal trainer or a music teacher.

Lee Know (리노)

His real name is Lee Min-Ho (이민호). He is the Main Dancer, Vocalist and Rapper of Stray Kids. He has choreographed for Stray Kids. He was born on 25th of October, 1998. He was born in Gimpo, South Korea. He doesn’t have siblings. He can speak Korean and a bit of English. If wouldn’t have been in Stray Kids, he would have been a dancer. He used to be a backup dancer for BTS.

Chang-bin (창빈)

His full name is Seo Chang-bin (서창빈). His nicknames are Mogi, Jingjingie, Teokjaengie and Binnie. He is the Main Rapper, Vocalist and Producer of the group. He has written songs for Stray Kids. He was born on 11th of August, 1999. He was born in Yongin, South Korea. He has an older sister. He is also part of 3RACHA. His name in 3RACHA is SPEARD. He knows a little bit of English. He can speak Korean. If he wouldn’t have been an artist, he would have been a producer, writer or a tattoo artist.

Hyunjin (현진)

His full name is Hwang Hyun-jin (황현진). His nicknames are Jinnie and Prince. He is the Main Dancer, Lead Rapper and Visual. He was born on 20th of March, 2000. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He doesn’t have siblings. He can speak Korean and some English. If he wouldn’t have been an artist, he would have been a interior designer.

Han (한)

His full name is Han Ji-sung (한지성). His English name is Peter Han. His nicknames are squirrel and donkey. He is the groups Main Rapper, Lead Vocalist and Producer. He is a member of 3RACHA. In 3RACHA his name is J.ONE. He was born on 14th of September, 2000. He was born in Incheon, South Korea. He has an older brother. He can speak Korean and English. If he wouldn’t have been an artist, he would have been a producer.

Felix (필릭스)

His full name is Lee Felix (이필릭스). His Korean name is Lee Yong-bok (이용복). His nicknames are Bbijikseu, Bbajikseu, Bbujikseu and Jikseu. He is the Lead Dancer and Lead Rapper of Stray Kids. He was born on 15th of September, 2000. He was born in Sydney, Australia. He has two sisters. Their names are Rachel Lee and Olivia Lee. He can speak English and some Korean. He is currently learning Korean. He can play piano. He knows Taekwondo. If he wouldn’t have been in Stray Kids, he would have been a song writer.

Seungmin (승민)

His full name is Kim Seung-min (김승민). His nicknames are Snail and Sunshine. He is the Lead Vocalist of the group. He was born on 22nd of September, 2000. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older sister. He can speak Korean and English. When he was young, he wanted to become a basketball  player. If he wouldn’t have been an artist, he would have been a photographer or a prosecutor.

I.N (아이엔)

His full name is Yang Jeong-in (양정인). His nicknames are Desert Fox, Our Maknae, Spoon Worm Yang, Fiona and Bean Worm. He is the Vocalist and Maknae of Stray Kids. He was born on 8th of February, 2001. He was born in Busan, South Korea. He has two brothers. He can speak Korean. If he wouldn’t have been in Stray Kids, he would have been a Singer or elementary teacher because he likes children.

Stray Kids is a South Korean idol group. They are under JYP Entertainment. The group has nine members. The members are Felix, Chan, Changbin, Lee Know, I.N, Woojin, Hyunjin, Seungmin and Han. They have released four albums. The names of the albums are I Am You, I Am Not, I Am Who and Mixtape.

They got their start on a reality show called Stray Kids. It was produced by Park Jin Young. It had two groups. First group was the girl group (debuted this year as ITZY) and the boy group (debuted last year as Stray Kids). They competed against each other in order to get the chance to debut. Park Jin Young chose the boy group. The boy group got to choose their group name. They chose the name Stray Kids because it reminded them of the journey they had to go in order to become idols.

In the reality show they wrote their own songs and choreocraphed their dances. They also had their own busking concert. The first song they wrote was Hellevator. They have also written Spread My Wings, Ya Ya Ya and Grr (Beware). Park Jin Young eliminated Lee Know in episode four. He thought that Lee Know wasn’t good enough to stay with the group. When they had their busking consert Felix made some mistakes. That ended up being the reason why Felix was eliminated. The biggest reason was that Felix’s Korean wasn’t that good. After he got eliminated he studied Korean every day.

In episode nine of Stray Kids Park Jin Young gave Lee Know and Felix a chance to prove theirselves in order to re-join the group. They did a bigger consert where they performed songs with and without Felix and Lee Know. The fans got to vote about the size of the group. They got to choose if the group would debut with seven or nine members. In the end Park Jin Young made the final decision. He decided that they would debut with nine members. They were really happy about it. The fans were also really happy about it.

Their debut was in January 2018. Their debut song was District 9. I recommend listening to all of their songs. It’s worth it. Most of their songs have a deeper meaning. Some of the songs tell about their youth. Some of the songs tell about how they became idols.

My opinion about them is that they are really talented and their voices are breathtaking. They are one of my favorite KPOP groups at the moment. I have liked all of their songs that I have heard so far. My favorite song from them is their newest song Miroh. It’s amazing. My bias is Felix. I personally think that Stray Kids is nothing without Felix. When you hear how deep his voice is, you will understand. No one would expect that sound to come out of his mouth.

It has been a while since I have written on my blog. Today I thought that I would tell some things about me. I am not usually this open with people but I want to learn to open up to people.

My name is Iida Kellin. I’m also known as Ida Blake Parker. I was born in Turku, Finland. I was born on the 7th of September 2001. I am currently 17 years old. I can speak Finnish, English and some Swedish. I study at a business college. I don’t really have any nicknames. I used to have but not anymore at least that I know of. My hobbies are photography, drawing, archery and singing. I love music and photography. I also love baking and cooking.

I have two Instagram accounts. I have my main account it’s @iidakellin. My photography account is @iidasphotography.

I have been told that I am funny and smart. My favorite subjects at school were languages, math, history, criminal justice and social studies. I’m pretty good at school. I can actually say that I like going to school. I have awesome friends at school and the atmosphere there is nice. My favorite colour is blue.

I have a dog. He is like my best friend. His name is Onni. Onni means Luck. When I was younger I had two hamsters. Their names were Heta and Hamsu.

My favorite Korean idol group at the moment is Stray Kids. My favorite American group currently is Why Don’t We.

Today I’m going to tell about a boy band called Why Don’t We. I’m going to tell my opinion and some information about them.

Why Don’t We has five members. The members are Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron and Jonah Marais. They have released six albums. The names of the albums are Something Different, A Why Don’t We Christmas, Invitation, Why Don’t We Just, Only The Beginning ja 8 Letters. They are in Atlantic Records. Why Don’t We was formed in 2016. Everyone of them had a solo career before the band.

Now I’m going to tell something about every member.

Daniel Seavey

He was born on April 2nd 1999. That means that he is currently 19 years old. He was born in Portland, Oregon, United States of America. His full name is Daniel James Seavey. He has three siblings. Their names are Anna Seavey, Christian Seavey and Tyler Seavey. His parents are Keri Seavey and Jeffrey Seavey. He got famous on American idol. He placed 9th. He can play nine instruments. The instruments are guitar, piano, cello, recorder, saxophone, drums, violin, viola and bass. He likes surfing.

Jack Avery

He was born on July 1st 1999. At the moment he is 19 years old. He was born in Burbank, California, United States of America. His full name is Jack Robert Avery. He has four siblings. Sydnie Avery, Ava Stanford, Isla Stanford and Camila Avery. His parents are John Avery and Kristin Stanford. He got famous through his YouTube channel. He is also an actor.

Corbyn Besson

He was born on November 25th 1998. He is currently 20 years old. He was born in Texas, United States of America. His full name is Corbyn Matthew Besson. He has two sibligs. They are Ashley Besson and Jordan Besson. He got famous through Itunes when he uploaded a song called The Only One.

Zach Herron

He was born on May 27th 2001. At the moment he is 17 years old. He was born in Dallas, Texas, United States of America. His full name is Zachary Dean Herron. He has two siblings. Their names are Ryan Herron and Reese Herron. His parents are Myta Herron and Josh Herron. He got famous when he sang Stiches by Shawn Mendes.

Jonah Marais

He was born on June 16th 1998. He is currently 20 years old. He was born in Stillwater, Minnesota, United States of America. His full name is Jonah Marais Roth Frantzich. He has three siblings. Their names are Svea Frantzich, Esther Grace Frantzich and Zebulon Wilder Frantzich. His parents are Carrie Frantzich and Timothy Frantzich. He got famous when he sang War Pain and Take You Home Tonight.

My personal opinions about Why Don’t We. I have been listening their music for couple of months. I heard their song 8 Letters last year. They are really good singers. I like their voices. My favorite songs from them are 8 Letters, Hooked, Trust Fund Baby, Cold In LA ja Big Plans.

I have been thinking of writing about K-pop for some time. If someone doesn’t know K-pop is South-Korean pop music. In the last couple of years K-pop has become really popular. I have listened K-pop and over all Asian music since 2012. Yes I have heard quite a lot of songs and artists.

I’m going to start by telling some of my K-pop background. So like when I started listening to K-pop and who was my first group and also my favorite songs. It has already been seven years since I started listening to K-POP. Time has gone by really quickly. K-pop has been really important to me since the beginning. It has helped me when I have been struggling. If I have to say every song and group I would be here for a while. At best I have had over 500 songs on my Spotify playlist.

The first K-pop song I heard was Haru Haru from Bigbang. The first time I heard the song it was 2008 but I didn’t actively listen to K-pop because I was really young at the time. I was only seven years old at the time. When it was 2012 I started listening K-pop more actively. It was because of Gangnam Style by Psy. It was really popular in my middle school. It feels really weird saying that I have been listening to K-pop sice middle school.

The first group I heard was Bigbang. The first year I listened to K-pop I was only listening Bigbang. My favorite artist from Bigbang was T.O.P also known as Choi Seung-Hyun. I thought that he was really handsome. At the moment I’m not listening to Bigbang. At the moment my favorite song from them is Koewokikasete. I know its Japanese but I really like the song.

Currently I listen a lot of Dreamcather, SF9, Target, Oneus, Sik-k, UNB, The Rose and similar groups. My favorite songs are Oneus Valkyrie, Sik-K Fire, SF9 Now or Never, Target awake, TRCNG Spectrum ja UNB Feeling.

Currently my favorite artists are UNB Ki Jung, Sik-K, SF9 Hwiyoung, Dreamcatcher Dami ja Oneus Leedo.
